backwards compatibility?

Okay, I'm with this idea right up to the last part:
Smaller connector - New smaller 19-pin connector

Are there any pictures of the new connector available yet? I would have presumed it to be identical outside to existing HDMI, even with the addition of ethernet capacity (the biggest upgrade, I think) until I read that.

Yippee....more adapters. Confused
