Dish New HD Channels

andrewleblanc@cox.net Thu May 14, 2009 3:33 am

The new HD channels on Dish are welcome, particularly FX. Logo is up in hd, but that network has yet to broadcast in the 16x9 format!
Hopefully Dish will add American Movie Classics in hd.

I had to call them and bug them since they weren't automatically turned on like the last additions were on my receiver which is a VP211. I went through the "Programming" option on the call in. I have the Classic 250 and it seems like only FX and Speed are the ones I'm suppose to get. I wouldn't miss the other ones anyhow. They had to send some type of "bullet" to my receiver and then every thing worked fine. GREAT pix. You could see if you get them on 9475 and 9468 as that is something they will ask you. Good luck and enjoy.
