Actually you will need very little extra unobstructed view. The 3LNB looked at 3 salellites located from 101 degrees to 119 degrees. The additional satellite that is operational is located at 103 degrees. Unless you are currently peeking around something, that satellite is already in your view. The other satellite will go at 99 degrees. For most people that equates to 1 degree up and 2.5 degrees to your left from the current view. To put this small change in perspective, imagine the face of a clock. The distance between the minute/second tick marks is 6 degrees. You can calculate your actual case by going to http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Installation/ ... ulator.htm and entering your info for satellites at 99 and 101 degrees and noting the difference in Elevation and Azimuth(Bearing).
