Is this a bad pixel on my new LG 55le8500?

I purchased the LG 55le8500 last month. Today while dusting it I noticed one tiny dot (is this a pixel) that is black or not lit. Since I'm a novice, can someone take a look at this and tell me if it is something that is covered under warranty? I purchased through Amazon (Beach Camera). I absolutely love this tv so I'm hoping this is something rather easy to fix. You definitely can't see it while your sitting in the viewing spots, but up close I noticed it and now can't look away from it.
Hopefully this photo won't be too big.

Thanks in advance for looking.

fessy ..
On-line acquisitions are sometimes a tad troublesome!
A) - You shouldn't be "DUSTING" any HDTV set, by-the-way ... a perfect way to ruin that display panel, for certain! ...remember, there are No Means to "repair" a scratched display panel! ... always use distilled water "spritzed-lightly" onto a microfiber cloth specifically-saved for that Panel ONLY - - - wipe GENTLY in a single direction as well as NOT daily! ... No "Windex" {or, any other liquid} doused onto that panel EVER! ...turn OFF that Panel, too.
B) - ANY/ALL initial defects or other "issues" with a new set MUST be identified / resolved before that 30th night, based upon the date of the C.C. verification or cash sales slip or initial financial transaction ... this applies regardless of locally or Web!
C) - Most Makers - - regardless of how much one spends - - do NOT allow a single 'pixel' to be considered a defect .... rather, it takes a rather considerable number {as in 4 - 5 - 6 - etc., in a cluster, etc..} .... remember that a panel contains .. millions!
D) - Try telephoning your Web Dealer directly & in the morning, having all of your paperwork at hand ... YOU probably will not like their reply!

P.S. - all manner of "How To Care For My New HDTV Panel" available - - BUT - - please DO read your Manual before that Panel is ruined with much more to worry about than (1) pixel! ....and, Do you have an approved Surge Protector? All new HDTVs are in reality very specialized, P.C.s & are just as electronically-delicate!

As for your A), that's exactly how I clean it..which the cloth given in the box and just a very slight amount of water. I called LG and they had me send the photos to their emails and said they would get back to me. Who knows? I haven't heard from them yet.

Can't "hurt" obviously - - - just be aware of another {display panel} which might well have more than (1) only 'dead' or 'constantly-on spot!'
I buy those Microfiber Towels in a large Pac @ SAMsCLUB - 16" square with (24) to a Bundle & handy as can be .... same for the "Spritzer Bottles."
