Laptop PC to HDTV Interface

I have a Sony KDF42E2000 HDTV, which has two HDMI inputs. I would like to output the display of my Sony VAIO laptop to the HDTV, but the laptop, which is several years old, has no DVI output that I am aware of.

IThe laptop does, however, have two ports on the left side, one called "Pro" and one "S400". Can someone tell me whether either of these might be useful, or whether there is any way I can interface my laptop to the HDTV?

For general info, the KDF42E2000 replaces the Sony KDFE42-A10, which had a Cable card, and computer input. Both were eliminated in the new version. I do not know whether the computer input in that model would have been helpful or not.

If you do not have a DVI or HDMI output then you should have a VGA output in which case you will need a VGA breakout cable and your display must have an RGBHV input.
