Ok.. here is what I have..

TV: 47" LCD Toshiba - 47LZ196.
tv has both HDMI and RGB input... They call the 15 pin RGB a PC input...

Computer graphics card: DUAL NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GT/GTO - w/SLI
This graphics card has 4 DVI outs... noRGB or svideo out..

I tried hooking up my TV as both a secondary and primary monitor and neither worked... When I boot up the pC it shows the logo at startup and the windows icon, but once it gets to the blue log in screen the monitor goes blank...

My suspicion is that this is a sofware / windows issue, but was curious if anyone else with SLI has had problems with a TV / PC hook up..

I tried checking settings and what not in windows and got absolutely no wheres... the sad part is the tv worked fine for my buddy's laptop that has an RGB out..

your pc resolution is set higher than what your television can display more than likely. use a dvi to hdmi cable and turn down the res on the pc and then try it.

Or it is set for a resolution your display does not accept. Make sure scaling and centering are turned off via the video card software, change the scan rate to 800X600 which nearly all displays accept, hook it up to your HD display, after everything comes up set for the native pixel depth of that display so you get 1X1 pixel mapping.

The manual said NOT to use an a DVI to HDMI for a PC input... strange..

I will try the settings first and the 800x600 and if that doesn't I may try the DVI to HDMI anyway... but boy, those cables are pricey... I'll check some other posts, maybe you guys know a good purchase source..

btw, Thanks for the response :!: :!:

always appreciated.

hey guys-

The problem was I have SLI technolog with my dual graphics card.. In order to run 2 monitors you have to deactivate it... I finally found where that switch was, and now its working fine..
