I have been looking everywhere for this info, but no luck.

Maybe someone on the board might know.

What Video Upscaling chipset does the new Pioneer SC-09tx A/V Receiver use?

Anchor Bay or Maybe HQV Realta ?

I am trying to decide which receiver to buy between this new Pioneer and the New Denon AVR-5308ci.

Video scaling is important as I have many SD sources to watch on my Epson 1080p projector.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

The Pioneer SC-09TX uses the a chip set developed by Marvell. They are the same people who developed the Faroudja. It's a good chance that the video chip set used in the receiver is the Marvell 88DE2710 digital video format converter featuring the Qdeo video processing technology.
