Hello,
first time posting, but have been looking at this forum from the side-lines!! I bought the Samsung LN-T5265F on 12/31/07 and the very first day it started to turn itself on and off on it's own several times. I plugged it into a different outlet and it has not done this since. Could it be a bad outlet? Maybe a power conditioner would help? Should I get a service tech. to look at it even though it seems to be behaving well? Thanks in advance

If it is not failing it can't be repaired. At this point it appears you may have a flaky outlet...

Richard, thanks for the reply. Well, it seems that the problem has gotten worse. The tv will not start, it just makes a clicking sound and the red LED just blinks A service tech. is coming out on Monday to have a look!! What a way to start with a new TV!!................Jorge

I had my 4 month old 5265 serviced December 22 and now this morning (Jan 7) it is out again!!!!!
My screen goes blank but I have sound. Two Boards were replaced on last visit.

these new tv's can sure be troublesome. I got this tv a few days ago and already Samsung is not impressing me at all. They told me that a tech. would be here this morning and now its been changed to Wednesday. I will post what parts/repairs were needed after the service call!!Oh well..................
