Sony is planning to use its Blu-ray Disc production technology to manufacture
highly efficient anti-glare LCD panels for use in consumer electronics
products. "Moth Eye" produces a display film covered in many minute bumps, and
is supposed to cut surface reflection to 0.1% or less for visible light -- at
