Vivitek Adds New 1080p Projector to Home Theater Line-Up
The Vivitek H5080 home theater projector provides native 1080p resolution, 1200 lumens of brightness and a 25,000:1 contrast ratio for amazing HD image quality. With Pixelworks'™ DNX Motion Engine, the H5080 creates smoother pictures by eliminating blur in fast-moving scenes. The projector design has the lens in a central position, as well as manual vertical/horizontal lens shift for easier alignment with a screen. "The H5080 is the latest product in Vivitek's home theater line-up. We're packing a lot of features and technologies into our products to give the consumer an incredible home theater experience," said Christopher Yang, Sr. Product Manager at Vivitek. "The Vivitek H5080 provides high-end specifications into a more consumer- and wallet-friendly product. The Vivitek H5080 will be available in October 2009 through authorized Vivitek dealers and distributors for an MSRP of $2,999. The projector carries a one (1)-year limited warranty on parts and labor. The optional interchangeable lenses include: Short-Throw (1.33-1.79:1) at $2,999 (MSRP) and a Long-Throw (2.22-4.43:1) at $2,499 (MSRP). These lenses are sold separately.
