----- HDTV Magazine Tips List -----
Hugh,
I have not tried any monoprice cables because I just located monoprice. I
have compared connections on my setup using high-priced cables, and lesser
ones and see or hear little, if any difference, up to a point. For example,
when setting up my 7.1 speaker setup, I tried Monster cables and heavy gage
zip cord (12, I think) and heard no difference for speaker runs up to 20'.
I then used the zip cord all around instead.
Now, very cheap video cables, using those I can see a difference, so I
usually buy medium or higher priced ones, but when I need new ones, I will
try monoprice first.

Jordan,
I know nothing about digital cables but I did think Monster's pricing was
rather high. Have you tried both the monoprice cable and a more expensive
HDMI cable to see if there is any visual difference?
