----- HDTV Magazine Tips List -----
Richard,
I found some units:
------------------------------------
On the CES 2005 report:
Crystal View (announced Dec 04)
------------
FPTV CV-1 9-inch CRTs http://www.crystalviewinc.com/crt-proje ... lecrt.html
Another FPTV from them with DVI (Crystal View 2), not new, $45K.
http://www.avrev.com/equip/crystalview/
CRT features of Crystal View: http://www.crystalviewinc.com/crt-projectors.html
Their processor for 1080p has DVI in/out with HDCP:

-----------------------------------------------
>From the CES 2004 report:
Madrigal
--------
CRT FPTV MP-9 $60,000, 480p, 540p, 720p, 960p, 1080i/p, RGB via BNC, but I could not verify yet if
having DVI.
-------------------------------------------------
Sony still has several good CRT RPTVs, now distributed by FH Video http://www.fhvideo.com/ ,
unfortunately they do not have digital connections (DVI or HDMI).
---------------------------------------------------
>From the CES 2003 report:
Just a quick view of the first section of TVs would show a good number of manufacturers with CRT
FPTVs at 7, 8 , and 9 inches tubes, the quick view did not reveal any DVI connections on any of the
units.
----------------------------------------------------
They are certainly disappearing, just take a look at Runco's web site.
If you are looking for one I suggest you hurry up maybe you could still get a one of a kind
not-so-old product that was suited with an early DVI connection (forget HDMI), make sure it supports
HDCP, many early DVI suited products (like plasmas) did not handle HDCP, they will give you a very
high resolution black screen.
Best Regards,
