I have a first generation DTC-100. I used it for three years to capture
OTA HDTV and analog signals. I then switched from Dish to DirecTV and
continue to use the DTC-100 for OTA and DirecTV.

If a person never had the service can OTA HD signals still be received?
Ie.
A home my brother moved in had a Direct TV dish on the roof and a
receiver
left in the basement, can he receive OTA signals? Thanks
