Does anyone get FOX on cable?

I am somewhat upset about missing the World Series in High Definition,
because there is no Fox HD signal on Charter Cable. Is Charter the only one
not carrying FOX?

What's with FOX and the cable networks? You'd think they'd have FOX HD
signals by now, especially with the number of big sporting events on FOX.

Hi Dave,

Cox cable here in Phoenix caries the local Fox
affiliate's digital transmission, which includes their
HD content.

I lived in the San Jose California area almost two
years ago, and Comcast cable there, carried the Fox
affiliate's digital transmission as well.

I couldn't say if Charter is the only one, but clearly
in my experience, two of the larger cable companies
carry it.

Time Warner does not carry HD FOX in Central New York and it does not look
like they are in any rush to do so.

The issue is not with Fox and the cable compan - but rather between the
Foxstation owner and the cable company. The Fox affiliates in Sracuse
and Rochester is owned by Sinclair which is demanding that Time Warner
pay a monthly fee for each (regular) customer to carry their HD channel
- whether the customer has HD or not. Of course, if every station
demanded this the cable bill would go up around $4/month. Naturally, TW
is resisting.
