Electrical Transformers

I am constructing an ICF home. I need to have plastic pipe put through the
wall before the concrete pour for all wire and pipe that need to enter the
home. I was thinking that I should have a separate entry for electrical and
one for Cable/satellite phone etc. Is there anything else that maybe would
be better off to be separated to decrease any chance of outside
interference?

Also I have a choice to hook up to a primary underground transformer or to a
secondary transformer. The Utility guy said that it is always better off to
hook up to a primary box but could not give me any document able reasons
why?

The primary transformer is 150' farther away than the secondary which leads
to higher material and labor costs. The secondary is on one side of my
property line and the primary is on the other end. Still confused on what
the differences would be

Thanks for any input from the group.

James,

I haven't seen much response to your questions...
I am an Electrical Contractor / Structured Wiring and Home Theater
guy and I am in the process
of getting my General Contractor License in Arizona...
I have just recently moved to AZ from Orange County CA and am very
interested in your ICF home!
may I ask what part of the country you are in?
It could really be a win / win for us if we could keep in touch and
see if we could help each other...
I would very much like to follow your progress on your ICF and you
may feel free to fire away any electrical, structured wiring
or Home Theater questions you would like...

Verrado, AZ
ps: also don't forget a raceway for exterior speakers, pool and spa
keypad, low voltage lights etc.
