Larry,

Pages 4 and 31 of the 2004 (free) report, officially announced in January 2004, almost 2 years ago.

Take a look at the stores that carry Pioneer Elites and admire the beauty of the Elite's 61" plasma
monitor.

In fact I am arranging delivery and installation of one of those for a person that had love at first
sight, instead of the 61" 1080p Samsung. Higher resolution spec is not everything.

Rodolfo La Maestra

Hugh,

Anything could happen in this industry, but I talked to the CEO and also
their Vice president of
marketing last week and both stated that the company is already working into
the second generation
of LCoS sets. They will not be alone in the multiple technology bandwagon.

Brillian agreed a couple of weeks ago to be purchased by Syntax Groups Corp.
Had this not occurred Brillian would not be able to go forward as they were
hemorrhaging money with no income. The CEO of Brillian will be the survivor
when the merger is completed. Syntax manufactures LCD televisions and
Olevia is one of their brands. I believe they will manufacture TVs in
Mexico but it will still be tough to compete with the Japanese, Chinese and
Koreans.

----- HDTV Magazine Tips List -----

Rodolfo,

Thanks for the reference!

As an Elite owner (as are many tipsters) I am obviously enamored with their
looks. It's just that they seem locked in to Plasma without regard to going
with another type display technology as some of the other Asian makers are.

Thanks Again!

Larry

----- HDTV Magazine Tips List -----

I just wish they had continued their RPTV Elites for another couple of
years. They also are offering LCDs in Europe in addition to plasmas. It's
all about the money and they know what people are going buy. Of course with
the price of plasmas coming down like a rock they may end up wishing they
had something else for the USA. Sony is taking a beating on their plasmas.

----- HDTV Magazine Tips List -----

Are they dropping across the board meaning both EDTV and HDTV or only EDTV?

I just wish they had continued their RPTV Elites for another couple of
years. They also are offering LCDs in Europe in addition to plasmas. It's
all about the money and they know what people are going buy. Of course with
the price of plasmas coming down like a rock they may end up wishing they
had something else for the USA. Sony is taking a beating on their plasmas.
