has anyone heard of taking the PC-based HD DVD drive out of the Toshiba
HD-A1 (in case you weren't aware, it's a full computer running linux
with a pentium processor, 1gb of ram, and a computer drive inside)??

I was thinking for $500, it might be worth ripping the drive out and
putting it in my HTPC...
