----- HDTV Magazine Tips List -----
Thanks to all who responded to my questions.
Regarding the problem of not being able to receive
some of the DirecTV HD channels - being a "computer
guy", I'm embarassed that I didn't CHECK THE CABLES
FIRST! That was the problem, Ken. Removing and
reconnecting the cables on the dish did the trick.
And regarding the "bowing" problem with the Mits, it's
good to know, Richard, that the problem is fixable at
a fairly reasonable cost. Since my IT job is being
outsourced to India, it's good to know that I don't
need to shell out for a new set.
And, Bob Caplan, thank you for reminding me about the
warranty. I'll need to check my records to see if my
set is still covered. It's been right around 5 years
since I bought it.
One last thing, can anyone recommend a good service
technician in the Cincinnati area that does Mits
repairs?
