My regular HD TV programming is fine, but my HD and the regular
recordings on Tivo, when played back, have waves of vertical lines
passing across the screen. Depending on the background color the
lines vary from visible to barely visible. Has anyone with the same
unit noticed this effect or have a possible explanation for it?
Thank you, Charles C.

Charles- If the lines are perfectly vertical then another image is
bleeding into the picture. If the lines are slightly diagonal then
there is an oscillation somewhere in the system, probably in the
antenna system. Antenna amplifiers are the most likely cause of
oscillations. My HR10-250 works fine. -Ken

Please note that his problem occurs only on playback... I suggested he
post his problem as I know many of you have a 10-250 and some of you are
nit picks that might have noticed this problem too.

They are vertical and sometimes very difficult to see.
