I lose my conversion EVERY DAY.

I have an 4+-year old, lower-priced set: Hitachi 43FDX01B RPTV. For a "cheap" TV the picture is
phenomenal, IMO.

I follow the directions found on Keohi and given to me by a tech for how to save the convergence
settings, so I'm sure that's not my issue.

Every day my set's convergence is out of whack, and it's never the same from day to day. This
happened one time and it went away after a week or so of daily fixing. This time it doesn't seem
to be going away.

Do I need to have something tightened inside the set? I'm long out of warranty and am not afraid
of reaching inside the set to do it myself, but if my problem should be fixed professionally, I
need to know that I should call a tech.

Can anyone suggest a Baltimore-area tech?

Thanks!
Hal

Make sure you don't adjust the convergence until the set has warmed
up for at least an hour.

It is normal for convergence to drift as things warm up and if you
converge it "cold" it will be off again after a while. Then you
notice that and converge it again, the next time you turn it on you
notice it is off and converge again, etc.

Other factors could be big temperature variations in the room, etc.
but leaving it alone until it has warmed up sufficiently, will
usually counter for that.
