Many are saying "yes", Toshiba today said :"no". Expected.

The next few days will be interesting. I expect one or more big
announcements tomorrow that will either put more nails in the coffin, or
pry a few out.

Well, surprisingly all my HD-DVD players didn't stop working on
"Blu-Friday" and I expect that they will work for many years to
come. I also expect to pick up a lot more HD-DVD titles as "panic"
hits the streets <g>. I also use my PS3 (and a Panasonic Player) for
my many Blu-ray titles. And I also spin vinyl!

In other words, to answer your question - not at my house!

The combination of SONY selling 1.3 million PS3 units (Blu Ray) over
Christmas
and Warner Studios dropping HD DVD seem quite a gain for Blu Ray.

IS HD DVD nearing the end of it's useful life?
