But what?

"We have no plans to build native Windows support for Blu-ray or other HD
formats," said Jordi Ribas, technical strategy director for Microsoft's
Windows Digital Media Division.

Seems pretty clear to me: Windows Vista will not support Blu-ray out of the
box, but it will support HD-DVD.

Then again, Windows 98 didn't support USB, but a patch easily fixed that, so
maybe it's not a big deal
