----- HDTV Magazine Tips List -----

It's a slow period on Tips so let me ask a basic question. When looking at
surge protectors they frequently show in bold type the number of Joules. I
know what a joule is by definition but in normal application what does it
mean.........layman's terms please. Is more better?
