Hi,

After reading reviews of power conditioners in the last two issues of
Widescreen review and seeing the writers describe the immediate
improvements such devices make in picture and sound quality, I've
become curious to try one for myself. However, I don't want to spend
thousands of dollars, so I'm looking for some recommendations on a
lower cost option. Something at a decent price that still provides
noticeable improvement. Thanks for any suggestions.

Have not read all that yet...

Waveform 14 AC Power Part 1
http://www.hdtvmagazine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4520

Waveform 15 AC Power Part 2
http://www.hdtvmagazine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4539

Take a look at http://www.exactpower.com/

The EP15A is what put them on the road map and is an AC synthesizer

The SP15A is a line conditioner you can optionally use in tandem with
the EP15A

The rest of the stuff is conditioners

When they first started they were working on a lower cost and lower
current capability of the EP15A... appears that never happened which is
a bummer as it would have been less than $1000

:(
