Micorsoft, Toshiba and HD DVD

When I saw these stories yesterday my first thought was here we go but
it seems that Xbox 360 is too far ahead to incorporate HD DVD in the
upcoming hardware release slated for fall. But man, what if they would
have...?

I've been meaning to bring this up for over a week. I went to the
Microsoft website and looked up the unit and saw nothing about HD DVD
only that the unit could display 1080i which the original already does
although on a limited basis.
