NBC Fireworks in HD

On PBS tonight (8pm edt), "A Capitol Fourth" was supposed to be in HD.
We didn't get it that way on our local PBS, which supports HD.
Did anyone else see it in HD?

Hi Robert,

We did here (COMCAST - Philly). There was a problem the first minute of so -
the rest looked good - really good. Even my wife could tell the difference.

Here in San Francisco we watched "A Capitol Fourth" in beautiful HD from
8 to 9:30 pm on KQED, then they repeated it again in HD from 9:30 to 11 pm.

Our problem was with the NBC O&O, KNTV. They recorded the East Coast
analog feed for early playback at 8 pm, in place of "Fear Factor", so
that they could air a local show showing Bay Area fireworks at 9. We
got a letter boxed fuzzy looking picture... no HD.

I wish the Boston Pops program on CBS would have been in HD. That would
have been beautiful.
