That's lame

My guess is that they will simply down-res: "PVP-OPM: Protected Video Path
Output Protection Management. Downgrades video resolution or blocks the
picture entirely if the connected display doesn't support content
protection."

If there is not a hybrid disc containing an NTSC version, then they should
detect the non-HDCP compliant display and down-res to 480p. I find it hard
to believe major computer manufacturers are going to sell PCs with the new
drives but without the ability to use them on anything but the very latest
high end monitors.
