----- HDTV Magazine Tips List -----

We talk about a lot of stuff having to do with how various companies market
products and why, and in my opinion the Circuit City Divx was the worst.
Now Sony comes along with a product which is all about selling the sizzle.
It is sexy, looks great, is compact, has a terrific looking picture on the
TV for advertising purposes. People will buy this unit because it looks so
great and never bother to see what the computer will provide. Take a look
at:

Hugh: Is this an example of very deceptive advertising?

Does the MS software (WM9) handle HD with 5.1 sound? Can one record HD
to a VCR? What VCR? Does this system even come with an ATSC tuner?

This seems close to fantasy!

Howard in South Bend where expectations still run high! (But not as fast
as Reggie Bush)

It only claims to be a TV/PC with a 20" widescreen from what I remember.
But it is packaged very well and while no one on here may not buy one, I bet
they will sell due to the packaging.

I guess that I am stunned that Sony would even bother to do a TV-PC with
obsolete technology. Why on earth would anyone want to buy NTSC hardware
now?
