Opinions on DirecTV H20 Receiver?

Has anyone heard anything good or bad about the DirecTV H20 (not the
HR20 DVR) HD receiver? Is it any more reliable than the DVR model? I
want to replace the RCA receiver I currently have so I can get the
DirecTV local HD channels as well as the new HD programming on the
horizon.

I know, I'm living in the past by not making the jump
to a DVR unit, but until I feel I really need it I can do without it
for the time being.

Jim...

I'm using one at home and I have several running at work...

The receiver does a good job of interleaving the DirecTV and local channels
next to one another. The receiver may do a reset on it's own (when told by
big brother!)
Works with the legacy 3 LNB and the new industrially heavy AT9 5 LNB
antennal!!

Has HDMI out... know nothing about that!

Dolby 5.1 only available as an optical output.

Haven't done any comparisons with the older model receivers or with off air
only models. DirecTV analog looks as pasty as ever!! No comparison with
the HR20...

Hope that helps!!

I have the HR20 and cannot use the hdmi connection as it cuts out all
the time. Must use the dvi or three color comp. connections. I
talked with Directv and they said a fix was to be downloaded . That
was a few months ago and I still have the same problem.
