Hey Gang,

Here is one I have not heard. My brother is getting a new display for his
Cabin at a Ski resort (Mammoth Mt for those who know it) and he was told
that Plasma displays have trouble with their operation at High Altitudes.

Any logic behind this?

Thanks,

Larry

Yep, it's all in the plasma gas and how it changes pressure with altitudes.

In the early days you could not transport them by plane... the pixels
would burst

Yes, I know a friend that bought one specifically made for high altitude. I
think it was SONY.

Something is not right with that article, at least the pressure parts.
