----- HDTV Magazine Tips List -----
Except the Sony and Hitachi 1024x1024 plasmas have always gotten good
reviews. They are said to do a good job on 1080i content since
they're set-up as 'interlaced' 512 panels of vertical
resolution--just subtract a few pixels on each end of your 540 and
things scale well.
The 1024x768 seems to be the midpoint between the EDTV and the
1366x768 panels. And, most scalars seem to have a setting for the
1024x768 panels, so they're pretty common. And, since many find the
EDTV as a improvement over a SDTV, these are certainly an upgrade.
A coworker just purchased the Panasonic TH-50PX50U, and I'm starting
to help him set it up. Been looking through the Manual to see how he
can hook up his computer.
