Anyone have any luck using the front USB port on the
6412 DVR?
I hooked my camera like I would to any PC, turned on
to download (or I thought view, maybe) but no response
from the cable box, nothing happens.
I may try hooking up my laptop now and see if "sees"
the Box or vis versa ?

The USB is supported by your cable comapny and the software they are
providing for the STB.

for most folks it does not work

and...

I do not recall anybody ever saying they did work and what they could do
with them.
