I did not state that they will not stock the bulb. The 4th (going up the
chain) and last person I spoke to said they typically do continue support.
However, they do refuse to make a public or written statement to that
effect - that they will continue support. And they are incredibly arrogant.
The only obligation they were willing to make was to the one year warranty.
It is a great TV for the money. I have friends who have recently purchased
it upon my recommendation and if they would make the right public statement,
I would advise others to get one at much reduced prices. I do not like to
be dependant upon their whim. I did not think a written statement was too
much to ask for.
