----- HDTV Magazine Tips List -----

I have just started getting Tips list mail with this type of message,
echoing problems others of recently related. What is the solution here?

Spam detection software, running on the system "unity.hostspectrum.com", has
identified this incoming email as possible spam. The original message
has been attached to this so you can view it (if it isn't spam) or label
similar future email. If you have any questions, see
the administrator of that system for details.

It sounds like your ISP (hostspectrum?) is using SpamAssassin, a
popular spam detector and it is flagging those messages as possible
spam (just barely, they are scoring 5.2 where 5 is spam). You may
want to find out if they just started using it or have changed
something recently (a new prerelease version just came out which they
may have switched to). I've been trying the new version myself and
find some of the high scores on these rules to be suspect.

In the case below, the sender used a yahoo.com return address but did
not mail the email through yahoo itself (a common spammer practice)
and an internal message id (which you can see if you show all headers
in your mail reader) contains a dollars sign which is apparently also
common in spam.

In that case, it was probably because your "from" address (as configured in
Outlook) did not match your account address.

A thought.
