Richard, thanks for the pointer. I found a forum that was full of repair
help for this exact problem on the Toshiba RPTVs (www.techlore.com).
Serveral folks were successful with both repair and with replacement of
the hyper module. I was directed to www.partstore.com with the p/n for
the module for my set. (decided not to try a repair... don't have the
eyes for that level of detail soldering anymore).
The module replacement went well. The set looks even better than it did
just prior to the failure. I'm looking forward to the change after Greg
completes the ISF calibration.
