----- HDTV Magazine Tips List -----

There was a blurb in the technology section of REUTERS that states "Toshiba launches world's first HD DVD player" . I'd comment on the article but their website is experiencing technical difficulties. My question is, has this thing hit the street yet? If not, isn't it behind their projected launch date? Last question, what is the hold up?

As of yesterday Toshiba was holding off shipment until software shipped.
Movie release come out on Tuesdays so perhaps they anticipate delivery of
software in time for next Tuesday.
