Sounds very promising. I wonder if this technology will have burn in issues
though?

So, we have DLP and LCD RP which in their current incarnations do not have
great blacks but do not have the issue of burn in. Then we have RP CRT and
Plasma which have high contrast, deep blacks and are susceptible to burn in.
Now we have SED which according to Aaron will also be
susceptible to burn in. Is there a technology in the pipe line that has the
blacks of CRT RP and the imperviousness to burn in of DLP and LCD RP?

The real question to ask is whether you actually are susceptible to burn in.
CRT has been around for ages and home users typically have not been as they
do not use fixed picture (Windows desktop, etc) video.

I've read SED will be susceptible to burn in, but I don't know how easy or
difficult it will be for burn in to occur. I would think it would be
difficult since I would hope they wouldn't introduce a new technology that
would have major problems with burn in.
