True 1080p DLP Chip — Community

Finally this chip is here for consumers, or I should say for projector consumers.

I exchanged emails with John Reder, Manager TI for NA for DLP, and he confirmed that this chip
actually has the 2 million mirrors, and I quote him "Yes, this chip has 1920x1080 mirrors", no
pricing to consumers is known at this time.

It's going to need be be near the price of the new, relatively low priced
Sony 1080P SXRD projector to compete.
