Joe,
Take a look at the wall mounts from Sanus (www.sanus.com) they have
everything from a basic flat to the wall mount to articulating arms. We use
them here with the Sony sets.

Last Saturday I purchased a 52" Sony XBR4 and it
weighs in at 108 pounds. Can anyone out there
recommend a quality hanger for this TV? I've never
hung a TV so I don't know what kind of problems to
expect. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Joe,

Any of the name brand TV mounts recommended for your model and its
weight should be fine. Simply follow the mount's installation
instructions or hire a professional to shift the liability onto them.
The trickiest part may be running the wires to the set inside the wall.
