I think it was Phil who brought up leno...
About a year ago I posted at HD Library an artifact I was seeing with
Leno to see if any others had recognized it. The post is gone, the only
response was we don't see it.
Pin stripes will show this error if they are very fine pushing over 1000
lines of resolution to the screen. What I noted is that the vertical
resolution was better than the horizontal. Stripes going up and down
would fade out before those same stripes going across would. My
conclusion is either the old cameras or the studio was rolling off the
horizontal resolution. I saved one show with Adam Sandler in a blue
white pin stripe shirt where I could clearly see it and show it but
never had the time to take the effort to remove that HDD from the DVR
and do all the stuff that needs to be done to create pictures of it to
show others on the forum.
If this is what you are complaining about then you are in DEEP denial...
