Lost City of the Incas
Now, after more than 400 years, Vilcabamba la Grande the vanquished capital city of
the Incas, which has eluded countless explorers has been discovered by the Spanish
historian and adventurer, Santiago del Valle. It sits 12,000 feet up in the Andes, some 60
miles west of Machu Picchu, on a peak so distant that there are no roads, no trails, no
villagers within days. In the next few months, del Valle and his team will explore
Vilcabamba la Grande. We will be there with them ... for a once-in-a-lifetime
archaeological find. This film will vividly retell the story behind this vanished city, as
well as the tale of the murderous hostility between the Conquistadors and Incas in a
strikingly cinematic style. Offering up a sweeping narrative with dramatic feature
film-style re-enactments, Lost City of the Incas will bring to life the clash between two
mighty armies ... the terrible last stand of a once proud empire ... the fall of the
Incas.

volcano and demonstrating its god-like ability to both create and destroy. We'll also
venture to Maui, the location of Hawaii's other national park, Haleakala, which is also
dominated by a volcanic mountain and is brimming with exotic, tropical wildlife.

THE MIDDLE PASSAGE
Rated TV14 for
Time:80
Genre:Drama, History
"If the Atlantic were to dry up, it would reveal a scattered pathway of human bones:
African bones marking the various routes of the Middle Passage" (artist/author Tom
Feelings). In the triangular slave-trade system practiced in the 400 years leading up to
the American Civil War, the "Middle Passage" represents the leg of the journey
in which men, women and children were captured in West Africa and brought to the New
World. With voiceover narration delivered by an anonymous African captive (voiced by
Djimon Hounsou), this groundbreaking motion picture provides a shocking look at the
unspeakable horrors of the transatlantic slave trade in which millions of Africans were
packed into ships for hellish five-to-twelve-week journeys that left many dead--and many
more in bondage. Widescreen.

A jilted talk-show producer uses her chauvenistic roommate as an example of her
"animal" theory about men, but winds up falling in love instead in this romantic
comedy. Adapted from Laura Zigman's novel Animal Husbandry and directed by Tony Goldwyn (A
Walk on the Moon), the film stars Ashley Judd as Jane Goodale, a broken-hearted young
woman who ghostwrites a column explaining her idea that men are like bulls--who always
desire a new cow instead of remaining interested in one they've already had. Her new
roommate Eddie (Jackman) seems to be a perfect example of this bovine theory...until their
obvious attraction begins to grow! Marisa Tomei and Ellen Barkin co-star.
