Will Abby Lose Control Of Her Full-Plate Of Problems? Elsewhere, Dr. Kovac (Goran Visnjic) finally arrives at the hospital in the nick of time to aid an overdosed teen while Dr. Lewis (Sherry Stringfield) helps an elderly man (guest star Eli Wallach, "The Magnificent Seven") whose wife suffers from Alzheimer's and hypothermia. Lewis is also flattered by her teenaged admirer (guest star Patrick Fugit, "Almost Famous") -- which doesn't help sugarcoat the grim news for her young cancer patient. Ming-Na also stars.

A great warrior called Chosen One...his evil nemesis Master Pain (better known as Betty)...a one-breasted female warrior...a black-belt cow. Using the 1976 martial-arts flick Tiger & Crane Fists, Oedekerk has redubbed the dialogue and added new footage--starring himself as Chosen One--to create a hilarious kung fu concoction about a great warrior's quest to avenge the murder of his parents. "Consistently silly" (Variety). With Lung Fai and Leo Lee.

The result is a society that hasn't had a murder in six years, but when the pre-cogs deliver a shocking prediction--that Anderton will kill a man--the stunned cop must run for his life while trying to prove the prognostication is wrong. Colin Farrell (Phone Booth), Samantha Morton (Sweet and Lowdown) and Max von Sydow (The Exorcist) co-star. Written by Scott Frank and Jon Cohen; based on a short story by Philip K. Dick (Blade Runner). "A triumph...four stars" (Roger Ebert).

Path To War

Time:164
As the successor to a martyred president, Lyndon Johnson hoped to transform America into a "Great Society" of equal opportunity. What he became was the symbol of the most unpopular war in U.S. history. From acclaimed director John Frankenheimer (The Manchurian Candidate) comes this powerful drama of soaring ambition and shattered dreams that takes a provocative insider's look at the way our country goes to war--as seen from inside the LBJ White House leading up to and during Vietnam. Based on public documents and extensive interviews, the film stars Michael Gambon as the former president who allowed himself to be persuaded by his advisors to increase the U.S. military presence in Vietnam at the expense of his vision of a Great Society. Written by Daniel Giat; co-starring John Aylward, Bruce McGill, Cliff DeYoung and Felicity Huffman. Widescreen.

John Anderton (Cruise) is the Chief of "Pre-Crime," a police division that taps into the brains of three pre-cognitive humans (pre-cogs) to predict and stop deadly crimes before they happen.
