 Time Warner Cable will offer FSN games from Fox's 13 owned-and-operated regional sports networks as part of the MSO's latest free HDTV offerings.

 FSN will concentrate its efforts in markets it shares with Time Warner, including Los Angeles; Minneapolis; Orlando, Fla.; Houston; and North Carolina.

 FSN will produce the games locally in high definition, and they will be available at no additional charge to subscribers."

DIRECTV To Launch New High-Definition Package
New HD Package will Launch July 1 and Include ESPN HD, Discovery HD Theater^TM, HDNet and HDNet Movies


El Segundo, CA Jun 3, 2003  DIRECTV, Inc., the nation's leading digital multichannel television service provider, announced today that it will launch a new high-definition (HD) programming package on July 1. The HD package will include ESPN HD, Discovery HD Theater^TM, HDNet and HDNet Movies, and is available by subscription for $10.99 per month.

In addition to ESPN HD, Discovery HD Theater, HDNet and HDNet Movies, DIRECTV will also provide its customers with special events broadcast in HD, similar to events broadcast in the past, such as USA's coverage of the Masters Tournament, NBA games and NBA TV programming blocks.

"The Love Letter," a romantic comedy focusing on the passions ignited in a bookstore by an unsigned letter, makes its network television premiere as a presentation of "ABC Thursday Night at the Movies," JULY 3 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. The film features a stellar cast that includes Kate Capshaw, Ellen DeGeneres, Gloria Stuart, Tom Selleck and Blythe Danner, and will be presented in HDTV format with 5.1-channel surround sound.

In "The Love Letter," Helen (Kate Capshaw, "The Locusts"), a 40-something bookstore proprietor, finds an unsigned letter she believes was written to her by Johnny (Tom Everett Scott, TV's "ER," "Attraction"), a handsome and mild-mannered 20-year-old who works in the store. When Johnny encounters the letter, he believes she wrote it to him. But Helen's good friend, Janet (Ellen DeGeneres, TV's "The Ellen Show," voice of Dory in "Finding Nemo"), hopes it was meant for her and sent by George (Tom Selleck, "In & Out," TV's "Magnum, P.I.").
