7:00 PM PacificDT FoxSportNet Bay Area brings us exciting HD Oakland A’s Baseball. Tonight they play the KC Royals from Oakland-Alameda Coliseum.

9:00 PM ET Olympics Opening Ceremonies Highlight pre-show 9:00 ET is the Full Opening Show in HD

Olympic Opening Ceremonies in High Definition a Four (4) Hour repeating loop all Day.

NASCAR Grand National Division - Mohegan Sun 150, Watkins Glen, NY Coming from the same track as the Nextel Cup drivers are running, a cool rare road course for this series.

2:00 PM ET CBS Sports is back in High Def. with the PGA Championship. They have teed up 5 Hours per day of HD Golf from what looks to be one a most difficult course. Seems like Whistling Strait has more sand than a few beaches I’ve seen! All the big names in golf seem to be on the entry list for this High profile event.

5:00 PM PacificDT KPIX Ch5 Local Bay Area HD NFL Pre-season the Oakland Raiders visit 49’rs from Candlestick(3Com) Park. Also HD in Sacramento KXTV and in Hawaii on KITV ! Aloha, HI !

Trans-Am Road Racing Series - Grand Prix of Denver, CO

OLYMPIC Sports in High Definition begin Sunday at 4:00 AM EDT / 1:00 AM PDT on an 8 Hour repeating loop timetable.

General note for the NBC HD Olympic games, they only list start times for the regular SD Analog programming. The times do not cross over well to the HD Loop (not every event listed is at HD enabled venue) so I can not list start times. The order is likely but with hours of delay NBC can switch events around before Olympics in HD: A new Eight (8) Hour HD loop begins each day during the course of  the Olympics at 4:00 AM ET with action from previous days events.  The loop then repeats at 12 Noon ET and 8PM ET (note 3 hours earlier on the West Coast).

2:00 PM ET CBS Sports is back in High Def. with the PGA Championship. They show the Final round today. Set your DVR if you’re watching the Olympics!

2:30 PM ET HDNet brings fast and exciting Champ Car World Series - Grand Prix of Denver, CO

7:00 PM ET INHD presents another of their Baseball spotlights: “Cathedrals of the Game” this week they bring on in HD, the venerable Yankee Stadium.

8:00 PM ET ESPN-HD cracks the bat with another HD Sunday Night MLBaseball game. They have invaded Atlanta to show the Braves vs. the St. Louis Cardinals.

7:00PM ET INHD brings on MLB to cable systems: Oakland A’s visiting the Baltimore O’s from Camden Yards.

8:00PM ET ESPN-HD gets the nod tonight for a Special Monday Night NFL Football Preseason game. The Seattle Seahawks visit the Green Bay Packers. Good chance to if the “Pack is Back”
