It's a shame
that this story only benefits Japanese consumers, but the retailer Edion has
said that, during March, consumers who bought a Toshiba HD DVD player can
return them in exchange for a Blu-ray Disc player from Sony, Panasonic, or
Sharp. If the new machine is more expensive, consumers will have to pay the
difference, but if it's cheaper, the store will refund the difference. ...
