Super Bowl Facts
  • NBC will Televise this year's Super Bowl from Tampa on Sunday
  • The number of expected viewers is just under 100 Million in the US alone
  • There will be 10 production trucks handling the broadcast from Pre-Game to Post Game
  • Three trucks are dedicated to HD
  • Sony will provide most of the 55 cameras used to shoot the game
  • There will be two Sony HDC-3300 Slomo Cameras
  • Most of the HD Lenses will be made by Canon
  • Wendel Stevens will be doing the 5.1 mix for the game
  • NBC will use a delay as the players are being introduced because the microphones will be right next to the players.
  • The half time show will also be delayed
  • NBC will use more fiber than any other football event (50 miles)
  • There are no plans for online streaming of the game
  • A 30 second ad on this year's Super Bowl will cost $3M
