Super Bowl Facts
- NBC will Televise this year's Super Bowl from Tampa on Sunday
- The number of expected viewers is just under 100 Million in the US alone
- There will be 10 production trucks handling the broadcast from Pre-Game to Post Game
- Three trucks are dedicated to HD
- Sony will provide most of the 55 cameras used to shoot the game
- There will be two Sony HDC-3300 Slomo Cameras
- Most of the HD Lenses will be made by Canon
- Wendel Stevens will be doing the 5.1 mix for the game
- NBC will use a delay as the players are being introduced because the microphones will be right next to the players.
- The half time show will also be delayed
- NBC will use more fiber than any other football event (50 miles)
- There are no plans for online streaming of the game
- A 30 second ad on this year's Super Bowl will cost $3M
