Monster: V3 Component Video Interconnects

Post by HDTV Forum »

75 ohm interconnects, jacks, and 75 ohm coaxial wire with a frequency response meeting or exceeding Belden 8281 is all that is required. Unless you are doing custom lengths (very long) Monster V3 meets these requirements at an affordable price, no fuss no muss, and is ISF certified.

The Monster 3 was tested by Joe Kane about 5 years ago. At that time it did it's job perfectly. What went in one end came out the other, exactly. I believe that the Widescreen Imagingscience 2000 big book has these tests in the book.

Anyway, I use Monster M1000 for everything, even 250ft "S" video runs. The stuff works great. You will pay a little more than cable should cost just because the marketing costs, but you will get the job done right.
