Very enjoyable story about a guy in love trying to fight a memory erasure process that will cause him to forget his girl. Confusing and hard to follow in spots, but great preformances by Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet make this flick an overall success. Even though it's uneven, I like these kind of films because they make you think about possibilities in life. What if you really could erase painful memories? There was another picture a while back that wasn't a big success but made you think along with the main character. Can't for the life of me remember the name of it, but it was about a guy who kept regressing in age to prevent a damaging childhood memory from happening.

I could really live without so much of the hand held camera fad that seems to be all the rage these days. It's a nice tool that's really getting abused.

I recommended this movie to my son and he watched it with his girlfriend. I found myself completely sucked in and watching it all over again.

The virgin experience is one side of this film and the second run knowing the plot line provides yet another experience and dimension to this film.
