Louise is in her late thirties, divorced. She happens to come across an art applicant at Columbia that reminds her of a highschool sweet heart, the love of her life, who died an early death. As she interviews this person the similarities are uncanny and she becomes convinced that he is the highschool sweet heart reincarnated. Reincarnation is not the main topic of this movie at all. It is the possibility of love fulfilled and her new potential future that drives this movie. The screenplay goes into great depth on the human condition and the cast supports it quite well.
